Winners of the 2023 MTV VMAs

In the words of the returning VMAs host, Nicki Minaj, “What’s good?” A lot is happening at this year’s MTV show, and it all begins with the nominees. Leading the pack with an impressive 11 nominations is Taylor Swift, primarily for her self-directed “Anti-Hero” video. Joining Swift among the top nominees are artists such as SZA, Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Blackpink, and Olivia Rodrigo. Many of these nominees will also be taking the stage for performances. New Categories and Lifetime Achievement Awards

The 2023 VMAs introduce the exciting debut of the Best Afrobeats category. Additionally, the ceremony features two prestigious lifetime achievement awards: the Video Vanguard Award, which goes to Shakira, and the Global Icon Award, presented to Diddy.
